I was so thrilled when the newest chapter was released just before the Rarity Takes Manehatten episode aired. That was like perfect. I'd enjoy getting to see Saddle Arabia, but Manehatten is my favorite location aside from Ponyville itself. Now all Hasbro has to do is give Elieen Montgomery and Nowa King jobs as the official voices of Tavi and Vinyl, and make them actual characters on the show.
I've heard that. It's a fun little tune. The music almost sounds like it was composed by a drunk person, which actually serves well in this case. As for Octavia or Vinyl becoming actual speaking characters someday, it seems more likely that it would just be Vinyl. She's made multiple cameos on the show, and seems to have been given a wee bit of a canon personality. Octavia appeared in one episode, and other than that, she belongs to the fans. Still, I'd be all for an episode revolving around the musicians of ponyville. The problem is that none of the mane 6 have music as their talent so there would be no reason to- unless: Idea! Have Rarity take Sweetie Bell to a musical event, and all the classic MLP musicians would be there, plus a few extras. Of course, they probably couldn't get away with indicating any sort of romance between Tavi and Vinyl or Lyra and BonBon (I'm honestly okay with the former since there has never been cannon evidence given that they have a romantic relationship). I must say that the only thing that bothered me about season 4's awesome premiere, was the fact that BonBon was not there to watch the summer sun celebration with her human crazy mare friend. Did someone finally decide to have them separate because they thought it would hurt MLP's image if parents knew their daughter's we're watching a show with subliminal lesbian messages? Whatever the case, I want to see Ponyville's gay pride couple back together.
